Noon Parenting Classes Now Available at Family Guidance and Outreach

Family Guidance and Outreach is excited to announce that we will be offering a series of one-hour parenting classes every Wednesday at noon for the month of April. These classes are designed to provide valuable information and guidance to parents on a variety of important topics.

The schedule for the classes is as follows:

-April 5th: Child Abuse and Neglect

-April 12th: Social Media and Internet Safety

-April 19th: Talking to Kids about Mental Health

-April 26th: Children and Peer Pressure

To participate, visit https://www.lubbockfamily.org/learn-at-lunch at least 5 minutes before the class begins to register and enter the virtual classroom. Each session attended will earn participants a certificate acknowledging 1 hour of parenting education class.

These classes are ideal for working and/or busy parents, as they are conveniently scheduled at noon. This allows parents to attend without having to take time off work or rearrange their schedules. Additionally, the online format allows parents to attend from the comfort of their own homes or offices, eliminating the need for travel and reducing the overall time commitment.

These classes also fulfill Saint Francis Ministries, CPS, CYFD, Probation, Parole and other legal obligations.

We continue to offer 2 hour parenting classes every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evening at 6:30PM. These classes are also held virtually, allowing parents to attend from the comfort of their own homes or offices. Each class is led by a trained educator who will provide valuable information and guidance on a variety of topics related to parenting. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with the educator and other parents, ask questions, and share their own experiences. These classes are designed to be interactive and engaging, and participants will come away with practical strategies and tools to apply in their own parenting journeys.
